Vision Support II is primarily designed to protect against age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and can also protect against the development of cataracts. Ultraviolet light and blue light contribute to damage in the lens and macula, and lutein and zeaxanthin are pigments found in the eyes whose main function is the filtration of UV light. Benfotiamine is a highly bioavailable form of vitamin B1, and studies have shown that it helps prevent the formation of AGEs (advanced glycation end-products), which are damaged proteins that accumulate in the lens and can result in cataracts. Astaxanthin, a carotenoid found in algae, and black soybean hull extract rich in the anthocyanin cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G) have been clinically shown to reduce eye fatigue related to extended exposure to computer screens (a.k.a. computer vision syndrome).

Ingredients: Each soft gel contains:
Medicinal Ingredients:
Lutein 7.5mg, zeaxanthin 7.5mg, benfotiamine 80mg, astaxanthin 2mg and black soybean hull extract (10% cyanidin-3-glucosides) 60mg.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Extra virgin olive oil, medium chain triglycerides, corn oil, mixed tocopherol concentrate and softgel (caramel, gelatin, glycerin).

Directions:
